About the sunglasses

Where are your sunglasses made?

Our sunglasses are all made in Italy whilst our design team are based primarily in the United Kingdom.

Why don't the sunglasses have a wire core?

The material we use simply doesn't require one! Our frames are stronger and lighter than other popular materials such as acetate.

Does your lens protect my eyes?

Our lens block out up to 100% of harmful UV rays, carrying the rating of UV400nm meaning even the smallest of rays are blocked. Not only that but we also filter out blue light, reducing the strain on your eyes.

What are the lens made from?

In line with the mantra of keeping the sunglasses light and strong, we utilise polycarbonate for our lens material.  This makes them both very strong and impact resistant for a safer and more comfortable lens. 

How is the clarity of the lens?

Our lens are graded as grade 1.  This means they are classed as offering the best clarity and so will not distort what you're seeing.

All orders presently ship from the United Kingdom leveraging a network of premium courier services.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

United Kingdom - 2 Working Days 

Mainland Europe - 4-7 Working Days 

USA & Canada - 3-6 Working Days 

Asia - 5-7 Working Days

Do you sell in physical stores?

We don't sell in physical stores however from time to time our products might appear in select stores under a promotional capacity.

What payment methods can I use?

We accept the major cards including VISA, Mastercard, American Express. We also accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal, Shopify Pay.

Is the shop secure?

In short yes.  We utilise the Shopify framework whereby they handle all payments and none of your card details are stored on our site.  Additionally Shopify servers provide cutting else security protocol and are SSL compliant. 

Can I return my sunglasses?

Yes!  We want you to be completely happy with your purchase so if for any reason you don't like your Trads you can return them within 14 days of receiving them.  To do so get in touch via email to hello@trads.co and use the subject line "Returns" and your order number.  Please note that you are responsible for arranging return shipping and any returns must be in the condition they were upon shipping from us to you.
