Springtime in Miami

Springtime in Miami

Each of our frames are named after a city that the team love and also reflects the aesthetic of the frame.  With springtime coming, we reflect on just some of the things we love about Miami and what you can discover by visiting.

Miami in the springtime is a great place to visit.  Warm but not too hot, the weather is ideal, and there are plenty of things to do to boot.

To start, you'll need to decide when to visit. Spring in Miami typically lasts from March to May, and the temperatures range from the low 70s to high 80s Fahrenheit. This season is a great time to avoid the crowds and higher prices of the peak summer season.

Next, you'll want to find a place to stay. Miami has a variety of accommodation options, ranging from luxury hotels to budget-friendly hostels. Some popular areas to stay include South Beach, Brickell, and Downtown Miami. Keep in mind that prices can be higher during peak season, so it's best to book your accommodations in advance.

When you're in Miami, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained. The city is known for its beautiful beaches, so you'll definitely want to spend some time soaking up the sun. Some of the most popular beaches include South Beach, Bal Harbour Beach, and Haulover Beach.

If you're a fan of art, Miami hosts Art Basel in the spring, which is a prestigious art fair that draws collectors and art enthusiasts from around the world. Even if you're not attending the fair itself, there are plenty of related events and exhibitions happening throughout the city.

For those who love the outdoors, the Everglades National Park is just a short drive from Miami and offers the chance to see unique wildlife and ecosystems. Spring is a great time to visit, as the temperatures are mild and mosquitoes are less of a problem.

Miami also has a diverse and delicious food scene, with influences from Latin America, the Caribbean, and beyond. Take a food tour to sample some of the city's best bites, or explore on your own and try everything from Cuban sandwiches to fresh seafood.

Finally, Miami is known for its lively nightlife, with plenty of clubs, bars, and lounges to choose from. Some popular spots include LIV at the Fontainebleau, E11even Miami, and the rooftop bar at the Clevelander Hotel.

When packing for your trip to Miami in the springtime, keep in mind that the weather will be warm, so pack light and comfortable clothing, as well as sunscreen and your Trads sunglasses. You may also want to bring a light jacket or sweater for cooler evenings, as well as swimwear and beach towels if you plan to spend time at the beach.

Getting around Miami can be a challenge, as the city is sprawling. While it's possible to get around on foot or by bike in some areas, you'll likely need to rely on public transportation or a rental car to get around. The Miami-Dade Transit system operates buses and trains throughout the city, and rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are also widely available.

Overall, Miami is a great destination to visit in the springtime, with plenty of activities, delicious food, and of course some amazing sunshine.
